PAID LEAVE FOR ALL WORKERS ACT



In June 2023, CHG updated their employee manual and required posting in preparation for a benefits change effective January 1, 2024.
The Paid Leave for All Workers Act (PLAWA) affords every employee one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked.  This leave may be used for any reason.  
It's important to note the following regarding paid leave.
1 - Employees may earn a maximum of 40 hours.
2 - Unused paid leave doesn't expire.  It does carryover.
3 - There are rules and restrictions to paid leave use.
4 - CHG policy is strictly aligned with IL State Law.
